The MINI 2 OTDR is used in the installation and maintenance of Fibre Optic Cables. The MINI 2 OTDR features both compactness and lightness, boasts precision-based test performance, as well as fast response. Users can experience accurate and rapid test results with automatic report generation. The MINI 2 is lightweight at 0.9kg, with a 5” High resolution (800 x 480) Touch Screen with Smart GUI. The battery capacity lasts up to 12 hours. The Dynamic Range of the MINI 2 is 32dB/30dB (1310nm/1550nm).

The MINI 2 OTDR features the following:

• OTDR mode measures distance, loss, reflectance, attenuation and cumulative loss.
• SOLA (Smart Optical Link Analyzer) is an application to simplify OTDR testing process. 
• VFL can locate fault location in the fibre directly and also perform as core calibration tool for multi-fibre cables.
• Fiber Microscope is mainly used to test fibre cleanliness and flatness.
• File Manager provides convenient file management system allowing users obtain and manage test results.
• Light Source (1310 or 1550ns).
