Fibreplus was started in 2003 as a training provider in the telecommunication industry. Since then we have grown rapidly to also provide equipment sales, hire and service while giving the upmost support to our customers.

We are able to offer a full service solution for our customers, including next-day delivery for essential fibre optic testers, and expansive hire fleet, full service and repair as well as telecommunications training.

The Fibreplus Telecommunications College is a leading training provider for fibre optic installation and testing in the UK. As one of the longest-established telecommunications training colleges in the country, we aim to offer the highest quality training and support. Our success is due to our highly experienced, well-qualified trainers who specialise in fibre optic and copper cabling and advanced testing. We use the industry’s latest testing and installation equipment and have invested in our custom-built training facility.

Our college holds accreditations from City and Guilds, the FOA (Fibre Optic Association), and Open Awards. We deliver accredited courses and have developed customised courses to meet the specific needs of the industry and our customers.

  • I came to Fibreplus for a FOA Technician course, expecting to gain practical knowledge in working with optical fibers and pass the international FOA certification. To be honest, the training I underwent at Fibreplus exceeded all my expectations. The instructor Pete, a kind and professional person, guided the group in an excellent manner, answered questions and helped at every stage of the preparation for the tests and the practical work at the laboratory stations. The equipment we worked with was of the highest level and perfectly maintained. The preparation for the test was excellent and the printed study material we received helped us prepare properly. Thank you to the team, to the kind Stefanie who guided the training process until we arrived at the facility in a friendly and patient manner, and to Pete the excellent instructor.

  • “I recently attended Fibreplus for the Fibre Optics City and Guilds 3667-02 5 day Course and left on the Friday extremely happy with everything they provided. The Course was great with all contents fulfilling my expectations. I would highly recommend this Course and provider to anyone interested in getting into Fibre Optics or using it as a refresher. All staff at Fibreplus were great and not only did they provide a good, in-depth course on Fibre Optics they also provided a rapid and very professional service for supplying Hire Test Equipment.
