Having reached out to multiple training centres in order to get my level 1 & 2 for the C&G 3668 - 02 in Fibre Optics, I eventually settled with Fibreplus in Melksham which is a 3 hr drive for me. The reason for my choice was simply the assistance, professionalism of the staff with my enquiry & questions especially Stef who is brilliant with her knowledge & communication, if she didnt have the answer she got it & called me back. The support that I got when doing the self study was 2nd to none (so many emails LOL) . Then came the in house training & exam prep then exams. Here Peter was brilliant taking time to explain thoroughly and assist in the practical sessions splicing, testing, & walking through each process. Happy to say I passed the exams. I have successfully completed both City & Guilds 3667-02 Units 1,2,&3 Level 2 in Communication Cabling (Fibre Optics), Level 3 BTEC Advanced test & Measurement (fibre Optics)and found the courses excellent very thorough and with a good mix of class work and hands on experience. I strongly advise Fibreplus as a first point of call for anyone looking to successfully advance in the world of fibre optics.
