Completion of this unit is required for achievement of the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Communications Cabling, alongside unit 301 and any additional unit.

Who should attend?

This course is ideal for existing network cabling professionals, due to the knowledge needed to successfully complete the course. It is aimed at those looking to increase their promotional prospects, as well as those already working in supervisory and management roles who want to prove their professionalism.

3668-03 provides progression for delegates who have already completed the City and Guilds 3668-02 Fibre Optic Installation and Testing course and is the best “progression pathway” for delegates with prior experience in fibre optic cabling who wish to work towards City & Guilds Level 3 certification.

What does the course cover?

Learners will cover the underpinning knowledge and skills required to progress within the telecommunications industry. The concepts will be relevant to both wired and wireless components of data and telecommunications networks. Students will explore issues such as enterprise cabling and telecoms utilities.

How do you complete the course?

Our 3668-03 302 course will be delivered in-house at our training facility in Melksham, Wiltshire. Students will be required to attend our centre for 1 day.

  • "Fibreplus have an excellent facility and staff for all you fibre needs whether it be training purchasing or general sound advice. I have successfully completed both City & Guilds 3667-02 Units 1,2,&3 Level 2 in Communication Cabling (Fibre Optics), Level 3 BTEC Advanced test & Measurement (fibre Optics)and found the courses excellent very thorough and with a good mix of class work and hands on experience. I strongly advise Fibreplus as a first point of call for anyone looking to successfully advance in the world of fibre optics.

  • City & Guilds 3667-02 Online Course "As I am returning/upskilling all of the units materials were extremely useful in helping me to understand both the physics, fundamental knowledge, standards and overview of fibre optic installations, both internally and externally. The presentation of the course was well balanced and the format of the video and quizzes worked well.
    Mike. E, February 2021
  • “A great training provider. Did the 1 week fibre course and really enjoyed it. The tutor was very knowledgeable and was a great teacher. The equipment we used was all top grade, was a lot of hands on practical work which helped break up the day from the theory stuff. Would certainly recommend Fiberplus to anyone looking for training in this field.
