Having reached out to multiple training centres in order to get my level 1 & 2 for the C&G 3668 - 02 in Fibre Optics, I eventually settled with Fibreplus in Melksham which is a 3 hr drive for me. The reason for my choice was simply the assistance, professionalism of the staff with my enquiry & questions especially Stef who is brilliant with her knowledge & communication, if she didnt have the answer she got it & called me back. The support that I got when doing the self study was 2nd to none (so many emails LOL) . Then came the in house training & exam prep then exams. Here Peter was brilliant taking time to explain thoroughly and assist in the practical sessions splicing, testing, & walking through each process. Happy to say I passed the exams. I came to Fibreplus for a FOA Technician course, expecting to gain practical knowledge in working with optical fibers and pass the international FOA certification. To be honest, the training I underwent at Fibreplus exceeded all my expectations. The instructor Pete, a kind and professional person, guided the group in an excellent manner, answered questions and helped at every stage of the preparation for the tests and the practical work at the laboratory stations. The equipment we worked with was of the highest level and perfectly maintained. The preparation for the test was excellent and the printed study material we received helped us prepare properly.
