The VIAVI SmartClass Fiber MPOLx is a purpose-built MPO Optical Loss Test Set engineered to meet all Tier 1 (Basic) certification requirements for modern fibre networks. Combining a dual-wavelength light source and a broadband power meter, the MPOLx performs simultaneous loss, length, and polarity testing across 12 fibres in under 10 seconds. Field technicians gain full control at both ends of the test link with integrated touchscreen displays and intuitive automation. It simplifies job setup, speeds up test execution, and eliminates the need for breakout cables. 

With integrated end-face inspection, optional patch cord microscopes, and automated pass/fail analysis, the MPOLx ensures your MPO connectors are clean and compliant to IEC 61300-3-35 standards, reducing downtime and rework. Seamless report generation with J-Reporter software provides everything needed for documentation and result sharing with cabling vendors and project managers. Designed for single-mode and multimode networks, this compact, battery-powered device is ideal for data centres, enterprise backbones, and telecom deployments requiring fast, accurate MPO testing and certification.
