The Jonard Tools JIC-190 Flush Cut Kevlar® Cutters are designed to cut Kevlar®, cabling insulation, tape, cable ties, and other materials flush to the surface. These cutters feature the following: - Thin-nose jaws provide easy access into tight places and allow for flush cutting of Kevlar® to the fiber jacket - Serrated edge holds Kevlar® in place for clean and precise cutting - Non-serrated blade can be sharpened for continuous long life - Spring-loaded TPR (thermoplastic rubber) handles return to the open position for enhanced ergonomics and reduced hand fatigue
Jonard’s cable cutters are made of chrome vanadium steel and are heat treated for maximum strength and durability. These cable cutters feature the following: - Precision ground cutting edges for superior cutting ability - Ideally used for soft copper coax and network cables and able to cut solid, stranded, and flexible cables up to 6 AWG - Ergonomically designed handle with dipped plastic grip for greater comfort and torque - This product is not for use on steel, aluminum alloys, or hard drawn copper cables The JIC-625 cable cutter is also the ideal tool for working on solar panel cables. Since the maximum cutting capacity is 6 AWG, it is able to easily cut solar panel cables which are typically 10-12 AWG. The cable cutter can also be used on battery cables for solar panels or any other soft/copper network/COAX cables.
The Jonard Tools JIC-375 Three Hole Fiber Optic Stripper performs all common fiber stripping functions. This fiber optic stripper features the following: - Strips the 1.6 mm-3.0 mm fiber cable jacket, 600-900 micron buffer coating, and 250 micron acrylate coating to expose the 125 micron glass fiber - First hole strips the 1.6 mm-3.0 mm jacket exposing the optical fiber and Kevlar strength members - Second hole strips the buffer coating, exposing the acrylate coating on the optical fiber - Third hole strips the acrylate coating exposing the glass fiber without nicking or scratching the fiber - Angled jaw guides fiber into the 3rd hole to prevent accidental cutting of the fiber - Safety lock allows the tool to be easily stored when not in use - Tool is made of strong high carbon steel and handle is made of TPR (thermoplastic rubber) for high durability and greater comfort
The patented and award-winning MS-6 Mid Span Slit Tool is designed to provide easy access to optical fibres in outer jackets and loose buffer tubes. With 6 precision grooves to handle various cable sizes, the sleek ergonomic design allows you to open a fibre jacket or buffer tube without damaging the fibre inside. - Consists of 6 precision slitting grooves ranging in size from 1.2 mm to 3.3 mm - Compact design weighing less than 2.5 oz with included tethering hole makes it perfect to use in tight spaces or on the go - Indicator line on top of the unit indicates the position of the blade for accurate slitting and ringing - This tool was specially designed for use on OFS EZ-Bend® 3.0 mm cable and also works with Corning's outdoor ALTOS® loose tube, Microduct MiniXtend® HD and MiniXtend® cable with binderless FastAccess® Technology, indoor/outdoor FREEDM® and LSZH® loose tube cables, PPC Semiflex 3 mm cable, and other similar style cables - Replacement blade set available, part number: MSB-1533 - Blades last for 5,000 slits/cuts - All of our MS Series Mid Span Tools are patented for their unique design and functionality. Our MS-426 won the 2019 Cabling Installation & Maintenance Gold award for innovation and our MS-6 won the same prestigious award in 2018! Groove Sizes: 1.2-1.5 mm | 1.5-1.8 mm | 1.8-2.1 mm | 2.1-2.5 mm | 2.5-2.9 mm | 2.9-3.3 mm
Pole extends 18 feet (5.58 meters) for an average of 24 feet arms-length reach. While providing more control and accuracy than its competitors, this telescoping pole is perfect for installing or retrieving cables in drop ceilings or other hard to reach places. This telescoping pole features the following: - Tapered interlocking tubes extend up to 18 ft (5.58 m) and collapse to a mere 33" (0.84 m) - Constructed from a high density fibreglass material with a polyester resin-baked enamel coating for maximum durability and resistance to splintering - Telescoping action is considerably stronger than coil or other rod-based products allowing greater control and accuracy. Simply pull and twist to lock it in place. - Reach: average standing reach of 24' (with user's height and arm length) - Includes: C & K hooks (to help grab/push cables), adapter (to replace the platform for navigating tight spaces), and small carrying pouch The RDT-18K includes the following: - RDC-35 C Hook - RDK-5 K Hook - Compact Navigation Adapter - Small Carrying Pouch
Designed to slit and ring fiber optic cables from 1.2 mm to 7.5 mm (0.05” to 0.3”) in diameter, this cable slit and ring tool is perfect for slitting and ringing cables, buffer tubes, and jackets on fiber optic cables. This cable slit and ring tool features the following: - Blade depth is easily adjustable - Spring-loaded design for easy operation - V block is reversible to hold smaller (1.2 mm to 3 mm diameter) or larger cables (3 mm to 7.5 mm diameter)
