The BTEC accredited test & measurement course provides additional training for those who wish to increase their understanding or specialise in the field of Fibre Optic testing. This course covers testing techniques and the use of standard Fibre Optic test equipment (VLS/VFL, Light Source & Power Meter, and OTDR). In addition to time spent on chromatic and polarisation mode dispersion and FTTX testing.

Along with the BTEC you will also be obtaining the City & Guilds 3667-02 Award in Communications Cabling are suitable for those interested in becoming fibre cabling installers or those currently doing the job and seeking certification.The qualification covers the basic principles of Telecommunications, Internal & External Fibre Optic Installation.

Along with the two amazing qualifications above you also receive the FOA CFOT certification which is based on an extensive knowledge of fibre optic technology and application as well as demonstrated skills in appropriate tasks. The second qualification is FOA CFOS which is the specialist certification covering fibre optic testing and provides additional training for those who wish to increase their understanding or specialise in the field of Fibre Optic testing.
