This course is designed for experienced electrical engineers that have an understanding of basic inspection and periodic testing, who want to further advance their understanding and progress their skills. Candidates should ideally be currently working in the industry, as well as have an understanding of 3 phase systems. This qualification will also assist in obtaining an ECS card in electrical installation.
Assessment methods during the 5-day course include a short written examination and an open book online multi-choice exam consisting of 40 questions. A practical assessment on a simulated installation and a visual inspection exercise will take place shortly after the course.
"I thought the instructors were great-very patient, engaged enthusiastically with the subject matter and always keen to pass on the knowledge to the students. The practical set-up was totally user friendly and the hands- on approach was more than suitably in depth. I really enjoyed getting on the tools and really getting stuck in with all the various elements of the system. I'm about to move to Germany in a couple of weeks to work on their internet backbone upgrade as a trainee fibre engineer. I'll keep you posted and will definitely be back for more courses once I've gained some work experience.”
Both instructors are impressively knowledgeable which made the course very engaging and enjoyable. I will definitely be recommending the course.
Great place to train, would recommend to anyone.
